H. Russ Brown

The "H" stands for...
FM NOMINEE!
H. Russ Brown is a Fight Director and Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors who has been choreographing violence for the stage for over 25 years in over 200
productions. His dynamic, inventive work has been seen all over the country from Chicago to Houston and L.A. to New York and back again.
Believing that staged violence should serve the overall story - NOT "show off" his choreography - H. Russ designs collaboratively with the entire production team of any show he works on to ensure the Director's vision of the tale is honored and that the choreography is both safe and dramatically effective.
An educator at heart, H. Russ is known for his ability to empower even the most novice combatant - highlighting their strengths through his choreography and building their basic skills sets to meet the demands of the story/character.
